Is it possible we’ve got it
upside down and back to front?
That our search for corner offices
and city-view condos is inside out?
That we think we’ve won when we’ve
reached the top and got the most
but we fail to realize how each spring
we’ve ignored the first time the evening sun
reaches the trunk of the ancient oak.
