Owls, they say, are wise. But it’s not
because they read books or go to
university or wear spectacles. No, it’s
because they’ll sit in a spruce from
mid-afternoon until midnight and
doze and gaze and doze again.
The thing is, you see, they know
what many of us forget: that it’s plenty
and enough to play their part in the
lovely symphony of everything there is.
